Rare earth element complexes with the very bulky 2,5‐bis{ N ‐(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)iminomethyl}pyrrolyl and the sterically less demanding bis(phosphanyl)amide ligand, (PPh 2 ) 2 N – in the coordination sphere are reviewed in this research report. The coordination chemistry, the reactivity, and the catalytic application of the corresponding complexes are discussed.
