The synthesis and structural characterization of two silver bismuth complexes [BiAg 3 Br 6 (PPh 3 ) 6 ] ( 1 ) and [Bi 3 Ag 6 (SPh) 12 Cl 3 (PPh i Pr 2 ) 3 ] ( 2 ) is reported. Complex 1 can be obtained from the reaction of BiBr 3 with AgPhCO 2 , PhSSiMe 3 , and PPh 3 . The reaction of bismuth(III) chloride (BiCl 3 ) and silverbenzoate (AgPhCO 2 ) with PhSSiMe 3 in the presence of PPh i Pr 2 in DME leads to [Bi 3 Ag 6 (SPh) 12 Cl 3 (PPh i Pr 2 ) 3 ] ( 2 ). The crystal structures of the compounds were determined by X‐ray analysis of single crystals, and the thermal behavior of the compounds was investigated.
