Single crystals of octahedral mer‐cis‐ [Co III I(CH 3 ) 2 (PMe 3 ) 3 ] ( 1 ) and square planar trans ‐[Ni II Cl(CH 3 )(PMe 3 ) 2 ] ( 2 ), were obtained from solvent mixtures (methylcylohexane / pentane 1:1) and have been analyzed by X‐ray crystallography for the first time.
