Silverpentafluorobenzoate monohydrate, AgCO 2 C 6 F 5 ·H 2 O, was prepared from the reaction of AgNO 3 and NaCO 2 C 6 F 5 in aqueous solution. Crystallization of the raw material from water at 20 °C gave single crystals suitable for X‐ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /c (Z = 4).
