Taking Ni(2‐mpac) 2 (H 2 O) 2 as molecular building block, two novel coordination polymers with the formula of [Ni(2‐mpac) 2 (4,4′‐bpy)·(4,4′‐bpy)] n ( 1 ) and [Ni(2‐mpac) 2 (py)·4H 2 O] n ( 2 ) (2‐mpac = 5‐methyl‐2‐pyrazinecarboxylic acid; 4,4′‐bpy = 4,4′‐bipyridine; py = pyrazine) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X‐ray single crystal diffraction method. In addition, elemental analysis, IR and magnetism characterization are presented.
