The synthesis and structural characterization of the first organometallic derivative of [Ni(S 2 N 2 H) 2 ] ( 1 ) are reported. Treatment of K 2 [Ni(S 2 N 2 ) 2 ] ( 2 ) with stoichiometric amounts of [Cp 2 TiCl 2 ] in boiling toluene afforded black, crystalline [Cp 2 TiNi(S 2 N 2 ) 2 ] ( 3 ) in 50 % yield. According to a single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction study, the novel heterobimetallic complex 3 comprises a nearly planar TiNi(S 2 N 2 ) 2 arrangement. The Ti···Ni separation in 3 is 2.8348(5) Å, a value that is typical for bridged early‐late heterobimetallic complexes.
