A Bis(ferrocenyl‐1,3‐diketonate) Chelate Copper(II) Complex as Host for Calcium and Alkali‐Ions The reactions of the ferrocene (Fc) containing bis(ferrocenyl‐1,3‐diketone) FcC(O)CH=C(OH)‐C(OH)=CHC(O)Fc with copper 2+ ions in the presence of calcium, sodium or potassium salts yield complexes in which bis(1,3‐diketonate)copper chelates act as hosts for Ca 2+ , Na + or K + ions.
