The synthesis and structural characterization of the new complexes [Ni( i Pr 2 Im) 2 (η 2 ‐ C,C ‐Me 2 C=CHCOMe)] ( 2 ), [Ni( i Pr 2 Im) 2 (η 2 ‐H 2 C=CH‐(4‐C 5 H 4 N)] ( 3 ) and [Ni( i Pr 2 Im) 2 (η 2 ‐ N,N ′‐N 2 CPh 2 )] ( 4 ) is reported. Complex 4 is remarkably stable under an inert gas atmosphere and does not undergo nitrogen loss under thermal or photochemical conditions.
