Two new coordination polymers, [Co(NCS) 2 (dpds) 2 ] (dpds = 4,4′‐dipyridyldisulfide) ( 1 ) and [Cu(ox)(Im) 2 ] (Im = Imidazole) ( 2 ), were obtained and structurally characterized. Single‐crystal analyses show that both complexes have a one‐dimensional structure, which in 1 corresponds to a double‐stranded chain that gives rise to metallacyclic units. Compound 2 was serendipitously obtained by aerial oxidation of the acetate precursor in the presence of Cu II and imidazole. The supramolecular organization is achieved in 1 through weak S···S interactions between chains and in 2 by means of strong NH Im ···O ox hydrogen bonding.
