Synthesis and Characterization of Methyldialkoxogallanes MeGa(OR) 2 (R = Et, n Bu) GaMe 3 reacts with ROH (R = Et, n Bu) to give the methyldialkoxogallanes MeGa(OR) 2 [R = Et ( 1 ), n Bu ( 2 )] under evolution of methane in boiling toluene. 1 and 2 were characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy as well as by X‐ray analyses. According to the structural investigations both compounds form centrosymmetrical dimers which are connected to infinite chains along [100] ( 1 ) or [001] ( 2 ).
