Electrochemical Synthesis of Ag 5 Pb 2 O 6 Ag 5 Pb 2 O 6 was prepared by anodic oxidation of silver in a PbO 2 suspension in an aqueous KOH solution. Phase purity was checked by a Rietveld‐fit of the X‐ray powder pattern, thermal and chemical analysis. The compound exhibits ionic conductivity. It' anisotropy leads to an orientation of the crystallites on the silver anode.
