The synthesis and characterization of the new complex [Ni(Im i Pr ) 2 (η 2 ‐P≡C‐ t Bu)] ( 1 ) is reported. Compound 1 represents the first structurally characterized example of a mononuclear nickel(0) complex with a side on coordinated phophaalkyne ligand.
