Abstract Two novel supramolecular frameworks, [Co(en) 3 ](dasb)(ClO 4 )·H 2 O ( 1 ) and [Ni(en) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ](dasb) ( 2 ), constructed by 4,4′‐diazido‐2,2′‐stilbenedisulfonate anion (dasb) 2− through weak interactions, have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. As expected, in the two structures sulfonate groups of the anion form strong hydrogen bonds with the coordinated en and water molecules as H‐bond acceptor and the components were connected by the hydrogen bonds into 3D networks.
