Organometallic Derivatives at the Core of Phosphorus‐Containing Dendrimers

The synthesis of a new family of phosphorus‐containing dendrimers is described up to the fourth generation. These compounds are built from a ferrocene core substituted by two electron withdrawing P=N‐P=S linkages, which dramatically modify the electrochemical properties of the ferrocene. These substituents are able to complex instantaneously group 11 metals, and the structure of one of these complexes has been determined by X‐ray diffraction.
