The hydrothermal reaction of MoO 3 , Ni(Ac) 2 ·6H 2 O, en (ethylenediamine) and H 2 O produces [Mo V 8 Mo VI 4 O 30 (μ 2 ‐OH) 6 (Ni II O 4 ){Ni II (en)(H 2 O)} 4 ] ( 1 ), which is the first polyoxomolybdate capped with four {Ni II (en)(H 2 O)} groups and with inclusion of Nickel(II) cation. The structure of this compound was characterized by elemental analysis and single crystal X‐ray diffraction. Crystal data for 1: Monoclinic, C 2/ m , a = 34.1719(4) Å, b = 15.3138(1) Å, c = 15.3408(3) Å, b = 116.575(2)°, V = 7179.72(8) Å 3 , Z = 4.
