A neodymium complex, [Nd(nta)] n ( 1 ) (H 3 nta = nitrilotriacetic acid) was synthesized and characterized by X‐ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 exhibits a three‐dimensional network, in which the Nd III ion is coordinated by one nitrogen atom and seven carboxyl oxygen atoms with dodecahedral coordination. One striking feature is that in the Nd coordination center there is no water ligand found.
