The title compound, viz. (C 6 F 5 ) 2 NLi was prepared as dimeric complexes with Et 2 O or THF by the reaction of (C 6 F 5 ) 2 NH (DFDPA) with n ‐BuLi. Identity and structures were established by elemental analyses, 1 H, 13 C, and 19 F NMR spectroscopy, and IR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of dimeric [(C 6 F 5 ) 2 NLi(Et 2 O)] 2 ( 1 ) and [(C 6 F 5 ) 2 NLi(THF)] 2 ( 2 ) were determined by X‐ray diffraction methods.
