CH 2 Cl functionalized polystyrene (Merrifield resin) was reacted with deprotonated 2‐(3‐pyrazolyl)pyridine to give a polymer bound chelate ligand system, which could be co‐ordinated to oxodiperoxo molybdenum(VI) units. The resulting heterogenized catalyst was investigated for its activity in the epoxidation of cyclooctene.
