The X‐Ray Structure Determination of tert ‐Butylimido Methylindane, [CH 3 InNC(CH 3 ) 3 ] 4 The reaction of MeInCl 2 with LiN(H) t Bu in a 1 : 2 molar ratio forms [MeInN t Bu] 4 in high yield, lithium chloride, and the free amine H 2 N t Bu. The crystal structure of the imidomethylindane with a cubic In 4 N 4 skeleton has been determined.
