The solubility isotherms of the three‐component systems: ZnBr 2 H 2 OC 2 H 5 OH and CdBr 2 H 2 OC 2 H 5 OH at 25°C have been studied. Crystallization fields of the equilibrium coexistence of the salts ZnBr 2 · 2H 2 O, ZnBr 2 , CdBr 2 · 4H 2 O, CdBr 2 and CdBr 2 · 1.5 C 2 H 5 OH in water‐ethanol solvent have been found. The dehydration processes of crystalline hydrates and the probable solvation of Zn 2+ and Cd 2+ ions in the saturated solutions have been discussed.
