The subsolidus equilibrium oxygen fugacities for the boundaries of the Fe 3 O 4 Fe 2 TiO 4 stability field above 1000°C have been calculated from available data. A Frenkel point defect equilibrium model is described, which uniquely determines the single phase intrinsic oxygen fugacity, as a function of temperature, Ti content, and metal‐oxygen stoichiometry.
