Durch reduktiven thermischen Abbau von K 2 PrO 3 [Ni‐Bömbchen, halb‐offenes System, 1000°C, 14 d] erhält man erstmals hellgrüne Einkristalle von Pr 2 O 3 . Die Struktur‐aufklärung [105 I 0 (hkl), Vierkreisdiffraktometer Philips PW 1100; MoKα; R = 6,30%, R w = 5,01%; Raumgruppe P 3 m1; Z = 1; a = 385,77(3), c = 601,20(6) pm] bestätigt das Vorliegen des A‐Typs gemäß dem Strukturvorschlag von P AULING .
