Strukturell untersucht wurden transparente, hellgelbe Einkristalle von α‐Li 6 UO 6 [a = 838,07(5), c = 738,34(7) pm; d pyk = 4,02, d rö = 4,17 g · cm −3 ; Raumgruppe R 3 ; Z = 3; R = 3,17%, R w = 3,06%; 408 I 0 (hkl), AgKα Vierkreisdiffraktometer Philips PW 1100]. Strukturbeherrschend ist ein dreidimensionales Gerüst um „Hohlräume”, das durch 12 O 2− (und 12 Li + ) aufgespannt wird. Der Madelunganteil der Gitterenergie, MAPLE, wird berechnet und diskutiert.
