Erstmals wurden farblose Einkristalle von α‐Ba 3 In 2 F 12 dargestellt, die tetragonal mit a = 9,488, c = 5,604 Å, Z = 2, d x = 5,73 Und d pyk = 5,67 g. cm −3 , Raumgruppe P/mbm kristallisieren [Vierkreisdiffraktometerdaten: 437 I o (hkl), Mokα, R = 5,9 und R w = 4,2%]. Lageparameter s. Text. Erstmals liegen isolierte In 2 F 12 ‐Baugruppen vor. Der Madelunganteil der Gitterenergie, MAPLE, wird berechnet und diskutiert.
