The dispersion of Pd, Rh, and Ir supported catalysts had been studied by means of oxygen‐hydrogen chemisorption and high resolution electron microscopy. The good agreement among the methods had been obtained for catalysts with well‐dispersed active phase (crystallites 1–6 nm). It confirmed the simple adsorption stoichiometry ratios O/Me S and H/Me S which are 1. For Pd catalysts containing metal particles larger than 6 nm it was shown that O/Pd S = 0.66 while the H/Pd S = 1 as for the catalysts with well‐dispersed metal.
