Reaction of Re(NO)Cl 3 with bases have been studied under different experimental conditions. Formation of Re(H 2 O)(NO)(OH) 3 have been demonstrated and the ultimate product with excess base has been isolated as Tl[Re(NO)(OH) 4 ]. Their i. r. spectral data has been analysed and properties described.
