The thermal behaviour of two previously described cobalt telluromolybdates: Co 4 TeMo 3 O 16 and CoTeMoO 6 was investigated and the thermal decomposition products of these compounds were determined. Two new compounds: the cobalt orthotellurate Co 3 TeO 6 and the cobalt telluromolybdate Co 3 Te 2 MoO 10 were synthesized and their X‐ray and thermal characterization given.
