Es wird die präparative Darstellung von kristallinem LiPH 2 · 1 Monoglym (Monoglym = Äthylenglykoldimethyläther) durch Metallierung von PH 3 mit n‐Butyl‐Lithium in Monoglym beschrieben (Ausbeute 86% bezogen auf Lithiumbutyl). LiPH 2 · 1 Monoglym ist bei Raumtemperatur beständig und gut löslich in THF, Monoglym, Diglym und Triglym. Beim Abpumpen (Ölpumpe) geht es unter Abgabe von PH 3 und Monoglym in “Li 2 PH” über, das in den genannten Lösungsmitteln nicht löslich ist.
