The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of benzene‐1, 2‐diamine‐nickel(II) and ‐copper(II) was measured between 80 and 300 K in a simple metal cryostat by means of the G ouy method. The temperature dependence of susceptibility of these compounds obey the C urie ‐W eiss law with different Θ values. In some cases of the investigated copper complexes a definit spin‐spin coupling was found at low temperatures.
