Crystallographic data for a low‐temperature form of potassium nitrite on the state of disorder of the room‐ and high‐temperature forms

A misprint in previously published crystal data of a low temperature form of potassium nitrite is corrected. The phase is probably identical with one of the two recently reported low‐temperature forms of potassium nitrite. The state of orientational disorder of the room‐ and high‐temperature solid phases of potassium nitrite is briefly commented on.
