Reaktion von Pentaphenylphosphoran und Iminotriphenylphosphoran mit Kaliumamid in flüssigem Ammoniak bei 100°C führt zur ammonolytischen Abspaltung von Phenylgruppen. Der nucleophile Angriff der NH 2 − ‐Ionen auf den Phosphor gibt in beiden Fällen das Aza‐analogon der Benzolphosphonsäure in Form des Kaliumsalzes als Reaktionsprodukt.
