Preparation of the salts of the series dioxotrifluorovanadates, M 2 I(VO 2 F 3 ), where M = Na + , NH + 4 , 1/2Ni 2+ and M II (HVO 2 F 3 ) 2 · xH 2 O where M = Cu 2+ , Ni 2+ and Co 2+ are described. Molecular conductivity measurement of potassium dioxotrifluorovanadate(V), K 2 VO 2 F 3 , at different dilutions indicates that it dissociates primarily into 2K + and VO 2 F 2− 3ions.
