A series of oxalato‐ammine cobalt(III) complexes were prepared. The nuclear magnetic resonance spectral properties of this series have been measured. The chemical shifts observed in these complexes have been explained on the basis of the theory of G RIFFITH and O RGEL . The splitting of the bands have been examined. The various crystal field parameters Dq′, B, Dt′ have been discussed.
