Tris‐(2,2′‐bipyridyl) gallium(III) perchlorate and nitrate have been synthesised by the interaction of 2,2′‐bipyridyl with the corresponding gallium(III) salts. The two new compounds have been characterised by elemental analysis and infra red data.
