Abstract Review of mean amplitudes of vibration for inorganic six‐atomic molecules from spectroscopic calculations and electrondiffraction‐data. The work contains new results of spectroscopic mean amplitudes and force constants for a number of molecules, viz.: S 6 , N 2 O 4 , B 2 F 4 , N 2 H 4 , N 2 F 4 , P 2 I 4 and SOF 4 .
