The decomposition of H 2 O 2 has been studied in the presence of Bi‐oxide—Mo‐oxide catalysts in the kinetic range of the reaction. A mechanism for the decomposition of H 2 O 2 on these samples has been proposed. On the basis of the activation energy and the pre‐exponential factor for the decomposition, the activity of the present catalysts has been compared with those of other oxide catalysts.
