Amino derivatives of tungsten(V) bromide with primary amines have been prepared and their properties studied. It is found that one molecule of WBr 5 combines with 5 molecules of a monoamine and 2.5 molecules of a diamine. An infra‐red spectrum of a monoamine complex has been taken and a probale structure suggested.
