Complex compounds of SCHIFF 's bases of 3‐aldehydo‐salicylic acid with iron (both ferrous and ferric), manganese and vanadium have been prepared and their properties studied. The probable structures of the complexes have also been discussed from the view point of their chemical properties and magnetic moment values.
