The system manganese chloride‐salicyladoxime has been studied by conductance and spectrophotometric measurements utilizing the Job's method of continuous variation in both the cases. It has been found that only a 1:1 complex of manganese (II) with salicylaldoxime having the dissociation constant of 9.7 · 10 −4 is formed. A suitable structure of the complex is suggested.
