Crystallographic Data for NiSeO 4 and its Hydrates

The lattice constants and probable space groups of NiSeO 4 · H 2 O and NiSeO 4 were determined. Both are isomorphous with the corresponding sulphates. The powder patterns of NiSeO 4 · 4 H 2 O and NiSeO 4 · 2 H 2 O are given. The linear coefficients of thermal expansion in the three axial directions were determined for NiSeO 4 to 500° C.
