A study of n‐hexyl biguanide as a chelating ligand has been made, and its complex compounds with copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(III) and chromium(III) have been described. A cobaltic complex containing pyridine along with the biguanide, dipyridinocobaltic bis‐n‐hexyl biguanidinium hydroxide, has also been isolated.
