G RAF 's( 1 ) procedure has been modified and a new method developed for the preparation of some borates metal ammines. A number of new compounds of cobalt, nickel and chromium have been isolated by these methods. In the case of copper, the same amminoborate is formed under different conditions. The general properties and stability of these compounds have been recorded.
