Since 1992, efforts have been conducted in Goodwater Creek Experimental Watershed to assess suspended sediment transport from this 73 km 2 watershed located in the Salt River Basin, Missouri, USA. This effort was complemented by assessment of field‐scale sediment loss and of suspended sediment transport at 12 watersheds in the Salt River Basin. The database includes 10 to 20 years of data from 3 fields ranging from 7 to 35 ha, and 5 to 20 years of data from 15 stream sites ranging from 10 to 6200 km 2 . Sampling techniques, analytical methods, site locations, and equipment infrastructure are described in this paper.
