A method of evaluating the gelatination ability of selected plasticizers can determine flow curves, critical temperatures, and times of gelation, and activation energies of flow for polyvinyl chloride/plasticizer mixtures. The flow analysis is based on transition of the heterogeneous mixture into the gelatination state based on changes in aggregation.
