Abstract Accelerated ultraviolet light aging was carried out using lead stabilized commercial vinyl miniblinds as well as a vinyl composition designed for outdoor use. The levels of surface lead found after such exposure were compared to results obtained in the field by the North Carolina Department of Environment, Health, and Natural Resources (DEHNR).
