From the leaves of Stixis suaveolens (Roxb.), ten compounds were isolated and elucidated chemical structures by using combined methods. Their structures were identified as (±)‐5‐methoxylariciresinol( 1 ), (7 S , 8 R , 8 R ՛)‐5,5՛‐dimethoxylariciresinol ( 2 ), (+)‐dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol ( 3 ), (+)‐dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol‐4‐ O ‐ β‐ D‐glucoside ( 4 ), (7 R ,8 R )‐ threo‐ guaiacylglycerol‐8‐ O ‐4՛‐sinapyl ether 7‐ O ‐ β ‐D‐glucopyranoside ( 5 ), 3‐hydroxy‐2{4‐[(1 E )‐3‐hydroxyprop‐1‐en‐1‐yl]‐2 methoxyphenoxy}propyl β ‐D‐glucopyranoside ( 6 ), coniferin ( 7 ), syringin ( 8 ), Z ‐coniferin ( 9 ), and dihydrosyringin ( 10 ) by comparison of their NMR, MS data with those of published literature.
