From the methanol extract of leaves of Aralia dasyphylla Miq. collected in Da Lat, Lam Dong province, seven known compounds including kaempferol ( 1 ), quercetin ( 2 ), hispidulin ( 3 ), eupafolin ( 4 ), kaempferol‐7‐O‐α‐L‐rhamnoside ( 5 ), kaempferol 3,7‐O‐α‐L‐dirhamnopyranoside ( 6 ), kaempferol3‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside‐7‐O‐α‐L‐rhamnoside ( 7 ) have been isolated for the first time from this plant by various chromatographic techniques. Structural elucidation of the metabolites was carried out by analysis of their spectroscopic data and comparison with those reported in the literature.
