Study design • A retrospective study • 129 women with cervical insufficiency (cervical dilatation ≥ 10mm, n=80) or a short cervix (cervical length ≤ 25mm, n=49) • Inclusion criteria Singleton pregnancies (17 to 27 weeks) Absence of preterm labor and PPROM • AF obtained by transabdominal amniocentesis Measured LBP, IL-8, MMP-9, thrombospondin-2, APRIL, lipocalin-2, M-CSF, and S100 A8/A9 using ELISA kit • Primary outcome Comparison of AF levels of various proteins in cervical insufficiency vs. a short cervix. SPTD < 32 weeks
