Five of the above MTX mentioned group became pregnant spontaneously (pregnancies ongoing). More than half of the recruited patients (57.5%) were successfully managed avoiding surgery. Conclusions: It seems that MTX administration, intramuscularly or intrasac, upon experience of the clinicians, as well as ‘‘wait and see’’ methodology could replace safely salpingectomy due to ectopic tubal pregnancies in young women, preserving efficiently their reproductive ability.
