Ultrasound assessment of fetal biometry and adiposity was done at 28 and 36 weeks’ gestation. Conclusion: We find no evidence that the addition of metformin to dietary and lifestyle advice in pregnancy for women who are overweight or obese has a clinically relevant effect on fetal biometry or adiposity. 1.The University of Adelaide, The Robinson Research Institute, and Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Adelaide, South Australia, AUSTRALIA 2.The Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Women’s and Babies Division, Department of Perinatal Medicine; Adelaide, South Austral ia, AUSTRALIA 3.The University of Adelaide, School of Public Health; Adelaide, South Australia, AUSTRALIA Amanda J Poprzeczny1,2, Jennie Louise1, Andrea R Deussen1, Jodie M Dodd1,2
